The Cubit 5 is configurable as a ready-to-go system as above, with various
principal functions in mind, eg media, study/office use, design, gaming.
It is fully Microsoft Media Center approved.
[It is
also available as a case-only kit from some of our PARTNER
SITES if you wish to build your own configuration. However we
don't recommend the DIY option unless you are an experienced
PC builder.]
In all cases, at the heart of the Cubit 5 systems are mainboards
and power supplies from the world-renowned boardmaker Shuttle, with Shuttle's unique heatpipe-based processor
cooling.
THE QUICKSLOT SYSTEM
The Quickslot system (shown opposite) allows us to load
components onto trays outside the case and then slot the trays
in - that's how we fit so much into such a compact unit.
